Parallel Planets presents Cristiana Gasparotto
in Mental Memoirs: The Wild Woman

* * *

"The reading of 'Women Who Run With the Wolves', by Clarissa Pinkola Estés, has been the inspiration for this work. In that exemplary and strongly archetypal non-fiction book, the writer introduced the character of The Wild Woman, a powerfully creative and wise force, as well as an endangered species, which deeply represents the instinctual nature of women.

In this photographic series, I have chosen to represent a few selected moments in the process of The Wild Woman’s retrieval and reaffirmation, according to my own experience as a woman, a mate, and a mother." - Cristiana Gasparotto on The Wild Woman
