"It's been raining and the summer heat slowly dissipates as the seasons change. You curl up alone on your bed and listen to music, headphones on and you just let it wash over you. This is one of your loneliest moments, you think to yourself, and you just want to dance and forget, but at the same time the cold holds you down and you settle at closing your eyes and sway to the music inside your head instead. The whole day goes by like a blur when you notice you've been dreaming it away half the time. Our lives are cruel mistresses and she always gets what she wants.
This is pop music for the ones who are in love and for the ones who are miserable as fuck, for the ones who are beaming with joy in their lives and the eternally melancholic sad sack - our brethren. Personally, these are songs that we listen to while making our Post-Love EP (that we would release on Diagnostic Records soon) and has been somewhat influential to us as an entity that makes music. These are our songs. These are yours too."
#100YearsofSadness is a collaborative effort of Cigarette Girls aka Alva Presbitero and 1/2 of KLMBRNG aka Tomi Uysingco. They make ethereal post-r&b for lean sippers and blunt smokers.
