I love colors. I especially enjoy seeing the work of great photographers who utilized color film in their work and I also draw inspiration from illustrators who love to drown their work in many different bright colors.
But on the other hand, I also love black and white photography! Photographers, like Junku Nishimura and Daido Moriyama, really make me want to pick up some Tri-X film and hit the streets. Some photographers suggest not incorporating both color and black and white inthe same series or project. However, I have always wanted to do just that.
In this series, I chose some images in which the subjects have little to do with each other but I just loved the way they looked using either b&w or color. I chose the color photos in which the subject, or scene and background had a good amount of combinations of color to contrast the black and white images. I've also sequenced them from b&w to color and to b&w again to keep everything composed well into one series.
Endless Endpoints is a film photography series exclusive for Parallel Planets by Christian Momdjian.
