trudge through a place where shadows cling

barefoot but completely unfeeling

exiled but seared, memories relentless

vicariously longing to regress

deep within the cracks are spaces ever so hollow

with beauty only equally matched by her sorrow

now comes dusk, the moon and its ascent

the seemingly unending murmurs of lament

About the Photographer: JC hails from Manila and is currently based in Singapore. He is an analogue photography enthusiast who has a penchant for shooting street.
